Abstract:
The article contains a summary of systems of transliterations and transcriptions based on the works of nine authors, precisely on the authors’ systems of transliterations and transcriptions created to analyze and characterize the particular monuments of literature of Belarusian Tatars.
The authors’ systems have been compared with International Organization for Standardization standards (standard ISO 233:1984 for Arabic language), and in case of Turkish and Persian graphemes with the standard DIN 31635 (Das Deutsche Institut für Normung) from 1982.
The table summary contains 41 Arabic consonant signs and 64 vowel signs or their combinations; it shows numerous differences among the authors’ systems of transliterations and transcriptions of the Arabic alphabet to ‘lacinka’ (Latin alphabet) and Cyrillic.
